For this first year, the festival proceeded over seven days, from the 24th to the 30th of July 2006. Its goal was the discovery of the area, inheritance and traditions, through the activities of local associations. It has connected the various villages which shares the same historical past or the same know-how in order to create a bond of comprehension between the various historical layers of the area.
During these seven days, come to penetrate yourself of Quercy, in its history and its traditions: Everyday, from 10h30 to 18h00, permanent workshops of creativity were proposed, animated by local associations. Everyday, a friendly contest was superimposed on these activities, pretexts for the sharing of a know-how. A bistrot was open everyday in Saint Martin, offering cold drinks and Quercy's salads. the Conseil General du Lot, the Parc Naturel Regional des Causses du Quercy, the Communauté de Communes Lot-Célé and the Mairie of Saint-Martin-de-Vers
